The problem of administration of societies is old and still remains unsolved. Yes, some solution was given with the establishment of democracy in one part of the planet (Western world), but the issue is still pending.. The Greek sages such as Socrates and Plato were the first to deal with this issue and not, as Professor Ms. Efthymiou propagates, the Eastern peoples who were the first to supposedly give us the lights of civilization. Is it to be “politically correct”? Empedocles, the first sociologist and socialist revolutionary, calls for the abolition of property and the inclusion of people in a global society, influenced by Heraclitus, who called for the abolition of nations and the creation on the island of Teos of a common parliament of the Greek city-states of Asia Minor, something similar to the failed KTE and the “cafeteria” UN. Socrates argued that first the moral and mental character of man must be improved in order to create a sustainable system of administration. Because problems are not created by mountains and stars but by people. And modern rulers with unruly and lawless people are not able to face the problems of everyday life. These are by their nature difficult and become intractable because they are immoral, undisciplined and prone to crime and lawlessness, so much the more difficult the problem of administration becomes. But the problem is not only the governed, but also the administrators. . Thieves, liars, dishonest, perjured and foolish rulers cannot administer even well-intentioned citizens. The influx of millions of illegal immigrants of lower cultural level and different culture has exacerbated the problem of governance of our country and daily we witness crimes, robberies, degradation, etc. and the life of the peaceful citizen becomes problematic in his neighborhood even in his home, due to insecurity and other problems Marx also followed the idea of Empedocles, without taking into account the idea of Socrates. The end of the Soviet Union was expected not due to a lack of abundant land, raw materials, energy, etc., but the dissolution was caused by the human factor (poverty, oppression, injustice, lack of freedom, democracy, etc.) The system, despite the oppression, was unable to adapt man to its measures and fell like a paper tower from the inside. The party’s strongmen were the first to not respond to the utopian doctrine of a classless and just society. According to Socrates, Knowledge shapes the Mind as the driving force of matter. On the contrary, Anaxagoras considered the Mind to be the driving force of matter. However, a weak mind is unable to move matter and make transcendences. And we see this in practice And to come to today where children in gangs fight each other. If these stray children had received a proper humanitarian and moral education and had playgrounds, even the old arenas of my time, and wrestling halls like those of ancient Athens to harness their youthful potential, would they be stabbed in the squares? Today they shift the problem to the police and the judiciary, while it is a problem of education and family upbringing. Today’s man has been nurtured with materialistic theories, that everything is matter and that it solves every problem, resulting in his indifference to Knowledge (=Truth) and Ethics. Education is of course also Technology, but it is not Moral Knowledge and education of the soul. If you have these, you will use technology for a good purpose, otherwise you will integrate it for the exploitation of man and the destruction of the environment Of the pre-Socratic philosophers, Heraclitus indicated this with his saying “to know oneself and to learn everything from oneself” that is [to delve into oneself in order to know oneself] Plato is the one who created idealism, but he was not the only one. Plato received the Metaphysics from Aristotle, the Aesthetics from Cratylus, Mathematics from the Pythagoreans, and Ethics and Definitions from Socrates. From the mixture of all he created Idealism (the supreme humanistic culture) (27/11/25)
