The situation in the Middle East is extremely worrying. Turkey, currently taking advantage of the power vacuum in the US, has thrown away the fig leaf and is implementing its permanent plan to create the Islamic Caliphate and achieve control of the Middle East. The multinational jihadist rebels started from the Idlib region on the orders of Ankara. Turkey supports them, trains them, equips them and directs them with the ultimate goal of the fall of Assad and its dominance over the entire region.
Aleppo is a strategic city in the NW of Syria which controls the northern end of the country’s Aleppo-Damascus axis and which connects the western coast of Syria. In keeping with the proportions, it is the equivalent of the “Thessaloniki-Athens” axis of Greece. If the jihadists’ advance continues, the Russian bases in Syria will also be threatened: 1) Tartus Naval Base, 2) Khmeimim Air Base, 3) Listening Base in Latakia If Turkey achieves its goal, then there will be a mortal danger for Cyprus and certainly in the long term for Israel. Because if at the present stage it may serve Israel’s plans for the neutralization of the weakened Assad regime, in the long term Israel will face an all-powerful Turkey that certainly would not want it. However, at this stage and after the defeat of Hezbollah in Lebanon by Israel, the Turkish initiative probably favors Israel’s plans to control the territories of Syria and Iraq in view of the final confrontation with Iran. This will probably not be long in coming, if the new American leadership agrees. However, Turkey’s aggressive maneuver in Aleppo through its jihadist puppets is a clear action against Russia, as are the events unfolding in Georgia as a distraction from Russian successes on the Ukrainian front. Turkey has proven once again that it keeps the agreements it signs (such as the agreement with Moscow after the downing of the Russian plane) as long as it suits it and then throws them in the trash. If the jihadists are not stopped, as expected in the coming hours, days, or weeks, by Syrian forces with the support of Russia, they will certainly reach Damascus and the Assad regime will collapse, with all that this implies for the balance in the Middle East. Turkey’s dominance in Syria will mean a deadly threat to Cyprus, but also to Greece, because Turkey’s next step will be to send jihadists to Libya and why not to Greece, which is its permanent target with the “Blue Homeland” The Greek Government and the Greek Orthodox Church show inexcusable indifference to what is happening in the Aleppo region (= the Veria of Alexander the Great with its rich archaeological treasures) where many Greeks and thousands of Greek Orthodox live, who are the first to be executed or will be executed, and according to information, 50,000 are already being displaced due to the threat of Erdogan’s criminal scum of Al-Qaeda. At the present stage, the Greek Government, instead of strongly condemning the aggressive Turkey in Syria, is keeping a silent fish and supporting with the appeasement policy of the revival of neo-Ottoman Turkey in the Middle East (3/12/24)
