IT WILL LAST AS LONG AS IT SUITS THEM

Konstantinos Konstantinidis – Amphiktyon

Some memorandum has been signed,

that the Strait of Hormuz may open,

that oil may flow freely,a

that confidence may return to the markets,

and that the global economy may not sink,

nor the crisis deepen any further.

But for how long will it remain in force?

Will this newborn survive and walk its course?

Or will it perish before it has grown,

leaving us days of sorrow and unknown?

As long as it suits them, it will endure—

ask the Pythia, my friend, if you seek the cure.

All have a vital interest,

and the people, forever distressed,

wish that peace may take root and remain,

and that violence be driven away again.

Let ships sail freely on the seas,

let sailors live in safety and ease,

let the world enjoy a tranquil life,

and let hatred yield and end its strife.

Yet may it not last only like the rose,

and once again the wheel of war impose,

with Uncle Sam’s carriers taking the stage,

declaring and retracting threats in rage,

claiming that Iran will be brought low,

while uncertainty continues to grow.

Bombs may be unleashed,

targets carefully marked,

while the suffering of peoples increases,

and death darkens the roads it passes.

With “smart” precision weapons they boast,

they bring the war to the leader’s doorstep most.

Hundreds of thousands dead and wounded lie,

while funerals pass in silence by.

Their numbers remain military secrets,

lest the enemy learn the details of the deficits.

And for the missing, decades will be spent,

searching for names and traces long absent.

As Penelope waited for Odysseus to return,

and news from the distant sea did yearn,

with her endless weaving and unweaving art,

she kept her suitors forever apart.

The greatest battles are fought at the table,

where the victor strikes deepest, if able.

And he who begins a needless war,

often pays a heavy price thereafter.

As history may one day judge Trump’s way,

if such a measure is applied one day,

he found himself upon a difficult road,

beneath a complicated and uncertain load.

Now he maneuvers and changes direction,

seeking to avoid the appearance of rejection,

lest it seem once more to all who see

that he has lost his wager publicly.

Reality now begins for the Iranians too,

with fears, ruins, and reckonings due.

How will such vast wounds ever heal?

What accusations of betrayal will become real?

Who faltered before the enemy’s gaze?

Who will vanish and who will rise in praise?

And who will ascend to the highest station

when the accounts of war demand explanation?

He who began the war performed his own harakiri;

the formidable Bibi drew him into the whirl completely.

Now he walks upon nails like a fakir,

a figure both tragic and severe.

Even the Caliph mocks him without pity;

how has the West fallen into such adversity?

I WAS NOT AN EASY  BOYKonstantinos Konstantinidis – Amphiktyon

If I had been an easy  boy, obedient and compliant,
my work would have spread far and wide,
and by now I would be a famous name.

All I had to do was say “yes”
to the supreme wielder of power.
He would have taken care of everything else,
the small obstacles and the great ones.

I would have become a celebrity,
for they know well how to open every door,
and I would have become wealthy too.

But I refused fame,
so that I would not fall into murky waters.
The responsibility is mine;
I declined the offer.

I would have become renowned
in both East and West,
for no one would have known
that I had been bought.

Had I belonged to the system
and accepted the proposal of the Great One,
I would now be pulling the strings
in the constellation of Taurus.

Instead, I remain in the constellation of Hellenism,
the source of the light of Civilization.
Its brilliance blinds the system.

The standing order is clear:
either obscure Hellenism
or, better still, reduce it to ruins.

For it is a nuclear weapon of ideas.
Many times it has been used successfully.
It conquered humanity peacefully,
without resorting to violence.

That is why, wherever it appears,
they cast their nets.

To stop it,
to neutralize and suppress it,
or to accuse it and stain its name.

Its ideas must not prevail.

The guardians know well,
and first of all our own people will act.

The system lies endlessly.
It can even turn a donkey
into a nightingale.

It knows no limits and no restraint;
it launches wars one after another.

An award from the state?

No, I have received none.

Someone once asked me,
perhaps to provoke me:

“They never honored you
for all that you have written.”

Then I would have to wonder:

“What harm have I done to Hellenism?”

The truth does not interest them.
Only what is politically correct serves their interests.

They made Helen of Troy black,
though she was fair as the blue and white,
with the appearance and refinement of a goddess.

Fortunately she is not alive today
to demand compensation from the director;
she would have reduced him
to the role of an usher.

Ancient writers
are treated with suspicion.

Their writings are not regarded
as evidence.

They even question
the entire body of ancient Greek literature.

Long ago they received
their first enlightenment free of charge.

Was it correct then?

Yet with that light
they emerged from the slavery of primitivism.

For events of prehistory
they demand documentation
before they will believe them,
according to the standards
of scientific orthodoxies.

Now they demand proof
for thousands of years
of Greek prehistory.

Otherwise, they dismiss it as “mythology.”

If that is not folly,
then what is?

What they fail to understand
is that mythology is often
the undated memory of world history.

Thus they begin history deceptively
from the fourth millennium BCE,
to the glory of the well-known
triple religion.

Likewise, they begin European history
with Charlemagne.

“There is a Sun
that sees all things.”

And archaeology,
time and again,
exposes their dark falsehoods
and the crimes committed
against humanity—
a macabre undertaking.

Μα πότε άραγε θα ισχύσει;

Θα ζήσει το νεογνό και θα βαδίσει;

κι ημέρες συμφοράς θα μας κληρώσει;

Πώς οι τεράστιες πληγές θα επουλωθούν;
Ποιοι για προδοσία θα κατηγορηθούν;

Πόσοι ενώπιον του εχθρού λύγισαν και ποιοι;
Ποιοι θα χαθούν κι ποιοι θα φανούν ισχυροί;
όταν οι λογαριασμοί του πολέμου ζητηθούν;

σε τέτοιο κατάντημα πώς ξέπεσε η Δύση;

Βραβείο από την πολιτεία;

Τι κακό στον Ελληνισμό έχω διαπράξει;

Τότε ήταν σωστά;

τότε τι είναι;

μα δεν βλέπεις τον τελειωμό;

γιατί να εναντιωθώ στο βέλος;
και στην υλική κραιπάλη;
Να μπω της υπερκατανάλωσης στη ζάλη;

On Wickedness

Konstantinos Konstantinidis – Amphiktyon

Wickedness is easily victorious,
if the State so desires.
Violence is painted upon its face;
it always aims at profit,
and folly possesses it,
running ahead of those who pursue it.

You will not find wickedness only among the wealthy;
there you may also find compassion.
If you lend to the poor,
do not calculate interest,
and you may lose what you lent,
receiving ingratitude in the end.

Wickedness sows discord,
bringing the apple of Eris,
dragging countless evils along with it;
with fair words and lies it delights us.
It brings us gifts from Ithaca
like Saint Nicholas at the hearth.

The cause of wickedness is the lack of reason;
it seeks distinction by every means,
through money and through falsehood,
and in extreme circumstances, through bloodshed.

Many have a noble appearance,
yet their soul is black,
full of cunning and darkness.
In the depths of the evil soul lies Hades;
rarely does it change its nature.

Do not be deceived by their attire,
their words and innocent gaze,
nor by their often imaginary wealth,
their flattery and deceit;
look deeper, even into their lineage.

Wickedness will use every means,
provided it achieves its goal.
The harm it causes is of no concern to it,
so long as it brings profit to itself.

For example, it steals things of common utility,
often through gangs of Roma.
It unravels the warp and weft of society.
Another gang, wealthier and more powerful,
steals the money of farmers
and livestock breeders.
Such a person is a hardened criminal;
the punishment should be exemplary,
and the stolen funds returned.

A most grievous misfortune is the wicked neighbor,
who keeps Asia Minor under subjugation.
It has brought genocides upon peoples,
sowing despotism and slavery,
understanding only the barrel of a gun.

Wickedness never remains the same;
it evolves continually.
It becomes criminal and beastly
if not checked at once.
Humanity will shrink in fear.

Among many wicked people,
the one wise person is lost in the mud.
Wickedness, like the Lernaean Hydra,
extends its tentacles everywhere;
the fish rots from the head.

Wickedness harms every good thing
that stands before it.
It will accuse it, slander it,
and perhaps send it to prison or to the grave.
Yet society must not be afraid,
nor surrender.

In our days, the wicked have become so numerous
that if the law were fully applied,
most would end up in prison
and the country would be deserted.
Judges and lawyers would be left unemployed,
and not a few from Parliament as well.

Whoever harms society,
even if he does not strike everyone directly,
sooner or later you too will feel
the arrows of violence and injustice.
Lamentation then will be futile.

Man is a domesticated beast;
animals walk on four legs, he on two.
Civilization has changed him little;
he remains beastly and wicked.
Otherwise, laws would be unnecessary,
and he would obey the commands of Mother Nature.

By his conscience he would correct himself,
for Nature granted him reason as an exception,
making him superior to the animals.

For, as they say, Prometheus
gave one nature to every creature;
only to man did he give many:
some cowardly, wicked, and cunning,
others criminal and bloodthirsty,
pretending to be the strong.

Never turn against everyone.
That is not the mark of the intelligent,
but rather of the wicked and the weak.
Nor should you praise evil
and condemn the good.

First strive to improve yourself,
so that you may judge the actions of others,
and not be one who teaches others
yet fails to keep the law himself.

Living near barbarians,
we have become somewhat barbarized ourselves;
we have forgotten our virtuous
and law-abiding ancestry,
our rich heritage and our virtue.

Whoever greedily appropriates the goods
that Nature granted collectively to all
is considered a thief of the commonwealth.
Like the brave warrior
who, instead of fighting the enemy, plunders;
like the valiant man who prefers stealing,
or the handsome man who prefers adultery to marriage.

The modern ultra-rich,
worshipped like gods and exalted as supreme figures—
states, banks, multinational corporations, shipping empires,
and their owners, materialistic Croesuses.
Alas! Everything will remain behind in this world.
No Croesus can enter Paradise
with immeasurable fortunes,
unless they perform benefactions
for the good of the many.

που παριστάνουν τους ισχυρούς;

THE GREEK CITIES OF EGYPT – Part 2

Konstantinos Konstantinidis – Amphiktyon

THE FIRST DYNASTIES – THE FIRST ERA

The first six dynasties—the earliest rulers of Egypt—were Greek gods and demigods, as recorded by Manetho (from 28,125 B.C., and according to others from 30,544 B.C.). Hephaestus and his descendants ruled for 11,985 years: Hephaestus, Helios (son of Hephaestus), Sosis, Cronus, Osiris, Typhon (brother of Osiris), and Horus (brother of Osiris).

Later, other kings continued to rule for 13,900 years. After the gods, the Heroes ruled for 1,255 years, followed by others. In total there were 32 dynasties up to the Ptolemies and Cleopatra, and approximately 2,000 dynasties up to the present day.

Manetho states that the Olympian Gods were originally human beings who governed the Greeks and other peoples of the Mediterranean and, over time, became deified.

Apion the Grammarian, who wrote a history of Egypt, reports that at the time when Anubis was ruler in Egypt, Inachus was king in Argos.

THE SECOND ERA

This period begins with the fall of Atlantis and the second predominance of the Greeks in the Mediterranean world, according to the accounts of Aeschylus, Plato, and other classical writers. It was followed by the Flood of Deucalion (approximately 14,000 B.C.). According to the texts, another silence in historical tradition followed, together with a new and considerable chronological gap.

THE THIRD ERA

Many Greeks, later deified by the Egyptians, ruled during this period. They were followed by Proteus (whom the Egyptians called Keten) during the era of the Trojan War. Paris came before Proteus, and later Menelaus arrived, claiming kinship with him.

The second well-known ruler was Remphis, son of Proteus, followed by other kings whose ancestry was traced to Argos and Mycenae.

THE FOURTH ERA

After the Flood of Egypt, Minos and seven of his descendants ruled for 252 years. Minos united Upper and Lower Egypt into a single kingdom, spread the religion of Helios-Ra, introduced phonetic writing and the calendar, and built monuments at Abydos, Chelona, and Saqqara.

Homer’s reference to Memnon, king of Ethiopia, arriving near the end of the war as an ally of the Trojans together with Egyptians, coincides, according to this interpretation, with the actual date of the Trojan War around 3500 B.C. At that time Minos ruled Egypt as the first ruler of the First Dynasty of the New Era, while his son Memnon ruled Ethiopia.

Minos, also called Min or Menes, was reportedly seized and killed by a gigantic hippopotamus.

Athosis was a physician who wrote books on anatomy. He is said to have built the palaces of Memphis.

COMMENTARY

Hephaestus, Helios, Cronus, Osiris, and Isis

These references derive mainly from the ancient writer Diodorus Siculus, who identified Egyptian deities with Greek gods.

Greek history presents a sad and regrettable phenomenon, which may even be characterized as harmful, namely that many modern scholars question the ancient authors and regard them as myth-makers because they are uncomfortable with the great depth of Greek prehistory, extending back many tens of thousands of years. By means of a dogmatic “pair of scissors,” they truncate this history to fit predetermined limits, allowing only those events they wish to present as the oldest. According to the author, the same method has also been introduced into Artificial Intelligence. Let the discerning reader draw his own conclusions.

  1. Chronologies of Tens of Thousands of Years

The chronologies given by Manetho concerning the reigns of gods and demigods over many tens of thousands of years are often rejected by modern historical scholarship as mythological and symbolic. However, ancient authors are frequently vindicated by archaeological discoveries and excavations.

Organized Egyptian history is generally considered to begin around the fourth millennium B.C. with the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. The author compares this to the history of Europe, which is often said to begin with Charlemagne while overlooking thousands of years of earlier historical development.

  1. Minos and Menes

Menes (Menas or Min) is presented here as the son of Minos, King of Crete. According to this interpretation, he was responsible for the historical unification of Egypt.

  1. Sais and the Greeks

The ancient Greeks indeed believed that very ancient ties existed between Greece and Egypt. Plato mentions that the priests of Sais preserved extremely ancient traditions concerning Athens before the Flood. Plato, like the other Greek sages, is regarded by the author as highly reliable.

THE GREEK CITIES OF EGYPT

One hundred and twenty-six (126) cities were founded in Egypt by Greeks.

Among the most important were:

• Alexandria – founded in 331 B.C. by Alexander the Great and developed into the greatest intellectual center of the Hellenistic world.

• Naucratis – the first organized Greek colony in Egypt, established as early as the seventh century B.C.

• Ptolemais Hermiou – an important administrative and cultural center of the Ptolemaic Kingdom.

• Arsinoe – one of several cities bearing the names of members of the Ptolemaic dynasty.

• Philoteris.

• Antinoopolis – a city with a strong Greek character.

• Heliopolis – linked in Greek tradition to Actis, son of Helios.

• Thebes – identified by the Greeks with their own Thebes and mythologically associated with Osiris.

• Memphis – an important center where Greeks also settled during later periods.

During the Hellenistic age of Ptolemy I Soter and his successors, dozens of cities and settlements bore Greek names such as Arsinoe, Berenice, Ptolemais, Philadelphia, Antinoopolis, and many others, creating an extensive network of Greek culture throughout Egypt.

THE ANCIENT GREEK PRESENCE IN EGYPT

Beyond prehistoric and historical testimonies, the Greek presence in Egypt is evidenced by the Greek cities that flourished there. Among the most important were Naucratis, Alexandria, Ptolemais, Arsinoe, Philadelphia, and many other Ptolemaic cities.

Alexandria became the greatest intellectual center of Hellenism, with its Library and Museum gathering the knowledge of the entire ancient world. For centuries, the Greek language remained the language of administration, science, and commerce in Egypt.

GENERAL CONCLUSION

According to the author’s interpretation, Hellenism provided the foundations that enabled Egypt to enter the path of civilization and emerge from barbarism. He argues that today this contribution is often underestimated by those who, through dogmatic approaches, fail to recognize its significance.

THE GREEK CITIES OF EGYPT – Part 1

Konstantinos Konstantinidis – Amphiktyon

According to ancient tradition, the first king of Egypt was Hephaestus, followed by Helios (the Sun) and then Cronus. Cronus married his sister Rhea and begot Osiris and Isis. Osiris-Dionysus and his wife Isis built the city of Hecatompylos (“the Hundred-Gated City”) and gave it the surname of their mother Rhea; later it became known as Thebes. Osiris also fathered Anubis with his sister Nephthys.

As Diodorus Siculus relates, Actis, the son of Helios and a descendant of the earliest inhabitants of Rhodes, the Telchines—who according to tradition were so ancient that they cared for Poseidon when he was an infant—sailed from Rhodes to Egypt and founded Heliopolis there.

Later, a great flood befell the Greeks, and because of this deluge most of the people perished, along with the written records and monuments of the Greeks. This, it is said, was the reason why the Egyptians appropriated the knowledge of astronomy, since the Greeks could no longer appeal to written evidence. Consequently, the belief prevailed that the Egyptians were the first to discover the constellations and assign names to them.

In a similar manner, the Athenians who had founded a city called Sais suffered the same ignorance because of the flood. For these reasons, many generations later, Cadmus and his son Agenor came to be regarded as the first discoverers of letters, having brought them to Greece from Phoenicia, which was considered Greek according to this tradition.

The gods of the Greeks and the Greeks themselves are said to have built one hundred and twenty-six (126) cities in Egypt, from the age of Hephaestus until the time of Alexander the Great, including the cities founded during the Ptolemaic period.

The Dynasties of Ancient Egypt

Before the great flood in Egypt, the gods ruled from 32,544 B.C. until 18,644 B.C. From 16,644 B.C. until 15,389 B.C., the demigods ruled. Thereafter, the heroes governed for 11,985 years. Later began the age of kings and the dynasties of the Spirits of the Dead.

Herodotus states that 11,340 years before his own time, Egypt was ruled by the gods. After that, no god appeared again in human form.
