Amphiktyon Greece, which discovered the institution of monuments for the preservation of memory and history, is being abolished by its modern children for reasons of petty-mindedness and petty-politics. Monuments, in addition to the person they honor, also show respect for Mnemosyne. [Mnemosyne was a Titaness, daughter of Uranus and Gaia, the personification of memory. She helped preserve myths and history before the introduction of writing, through memorization. She was the protector of oral tradition and poets. Zeus united with her for nine nights in Pieria and gave birth to the Muses.”] Only the amnesic, that is, “idiots,” do not honor Mnemosyne and the monuments that are erected in honor of the good people. In particular, the monument to the Unknown Soldier symbolizes the fallen, the drowned and the missing Greek hero fighters of all times throughout time, who gave the most precious good of man, namely their lives for the Freedom of the homeland. Such a symbolic monument must be approached with the utmost respect and emotion and not be involved with everyday life and party revelry so that the brainless party leaders can win a few “votes.” The same applies to the Acropolis where the KKE raises its banners, which neither believes in democracy nor embraces the homeland as it has proven with works in the past, but also with the statute. In all parts of the world, the monument to the fallen is considered a sacred place and respected by citizens. The exception is the modern parties of the Post-Revolutionary Era, which, in order to show their anti-dictatorial fervor, questioned everything: patriotism, our national rights and symbols, history, the struggles of our ancestors, our culture, our language, even our geographical borders (the Aegean is for fish, etc.). Following the above, it was time for the Government to protect the monuments from destruction (breakages, smudges, etc.) and especially the top monument of the Unknown Soldier from party and individual ugliness. There are spaces and squares for protests.
