TEMPLE OF ZEUS: THE BEGINNING OF THE REHELLENICISM OF THE WORLD Written by Konstantinos Konstantinidis Amphiktyon The foundation of the culture of every people has always been its religious and philosophical beliefs. For us Greeks, the philosophical and value foundation was the Gods of Olympus whom the soul of the Greek had humanized and he himself took care to resemble them and reach them in the soul and in his works On March 8, 2025, the inauguration of the construction of the first temple after 1700 years in honor of Zeus in Arcadia took place, on a plot of 1700 acres donated for this purpose by the Greek doctor from England, Mr. Manolis Heliotis. The initiative to erect the Greek temple in a faithful copy of our ancient temples was taken by myriads of Greeks who respect the ancestral religion. However, the honor fell to the tireless fighter Mr. Vangelis Bexis and who is now implementing it. It would be a historical omission to ignore the first Greek Cypriot of the Diaspora, the late Costas Athanasiadis, who brought to the surface the problem of restoring the ancestral religion. The Cypriot expatriate in the USA and publisher of the newspaper CAMPANA of N.Y., when I met him in New York in 1981, he explained the problem to me and made me a part of his movement for the restoration of the ancestral religion. . Then he explained to me the issue of the de-Hellenization of the Greeks, which is due to the violent change of the ancestral religion with the Judeo-Christian doctrine and the imposition of Judeo-Christianity on the enslaved Greeks under penalty of death. From then on, the Greek ceased to produce great ideas, to do feats, to construct works and to be VIRTUOUS according to Socrates, that is, to possess: 1/ Wisdom (logical judgment – rationality – knowledge 2/ Courage (effort – courage) 3/ Prudence (understanding – information – ability to make decisions) and 4/ Justice (respect for divine law). With the new religion, he became a slave of the God of the Jews and consequently a slave of every ruler who uses this doctrine. Coming under the political Roman slavery and the spiritual enslavement to Judeo-Christianity, he ceased to be free and to produce works of high intellectual and moral value. From then on, he became hetero-illuminated, deprived of the lights of his ancestors because they alienated him with the successive changes of the language from Greek Education The CAMPANA of N.Y. and immediately after the Magazine “DAVLOS” became the lights of re-hellenism. The process progressed through fierce persecutions, slowly but surely. The movement for the restoration of the ancestral religion and the re-hellenization of the Greek today also influences political thought and will not be long in changing the current foreign party rule with Direct Democracy. The first improvised temple was dared to be built at his own expense in Diavata, Thessaloniki by Mr. Eupatrides.
