Scientific investigations present convincing evidence that the Universe may possess a dodecahedral structure. In his theory of numbers and geometric forms, Pythagoras maintained that the Universe possessed a geometric structure and attributed special significance to the number twelve. Characteristically, the planets of the Sun were also believed to be twelve in number. It is no coincidence that the Olympian Gods were likewise twelve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A similar view was expressed by Plato, who regarded the Universe as being composed of such geometric forms. Leonardo da Vinci also studied the dodecahedron, as did the renowned astronomer Johannes Kepler, who proposed that the structure of the Solar System was based upon the Platonic solids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Definitive answers to these fundamental cosmological questions may eventually be provided by future space telescopes, which could reveal the hidden geometry of the Universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), regarded as the &#8220;echo&#8221; of the Big Bang, provides a wealth of valuable information concerning the early history of the Universe and its overall structure. One of the principal questions confronting cosmologists is whether the Universe will continue expanding indefinitely or whether, after billions of years, it will reverse its course and begin to contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Wilkinson Spacecraft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data transmitted by the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), whose mission was to map the Cosmic Microwave Background, led scientists to conclude that the temperature fluctuations observed across the sky are smaller than would be expected if the Universe were infinite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Observations indicate that the Universe may be too small to exhibit large-scale variations in the Cosmic Microwave Background. Astronomers from the United States and France suggest that space itself may not be sufficiently vast to permit such extensive fluctuations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A finite and relatively small Universe, composed of curved pentagonal faces forming a spherical dodecahedron, appears to explain these observations satisfactorily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor George Ellis of the University of Cape Town, South Africa, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;A dodecahedral Universe would possess very interesting properties. I believe that the latter inherited this knowledge from the advanced pre-cataclysmic civilization of the &#8220;Golden Age,&#8221; created by the seafaring peoples around the Aegean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just as many theories advanced by the Greek sages have been confirmed over time, so too\u2014according to my interpretation\u2014the views of Pythagoras, Plato, and other philosophers concerning a dodecahedral Universe appear to be finding new support through the capabilities of modern scientific instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Became of the Remains of the Technology of the Gods?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In remote antiquity, an immense geological catastrophe occurred, caused by either a cosmic or geological event. As a result, the orbits of celestial bodies changed and the Earth&#8217;s axis shifted (Plato, <em>Timaeus<\/em> 22c\u2013d, <em>Critias<\/em>; Hesiod, <em>Theogony<\/em>; Aeschylus, <em>Prometheus Bound<\/em>, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following this catastrophic flood, only structures of exceptional durability could survive, particularly their level foundations. Many such constructions discovered throughout the world\u2014pyramids, megalithic monuments, tholos tombs, menhirs, ancient maps, and others\u2014would be difficult to reproduce even with today&#8217;s advanced engineering technology. More recently, the discovery of a pyramid-like underwater structure off the coast of Japan has also been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This era of highly advanced technology was described by Hesiod and other ancient authors as the &#8220;Golden Age.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pythagoras and Plato were by no means ordinary individuals. Apart from their initiation into the Orphic Mysteries, it is possible that they had access to ancient archives or sacred centers of knowledge from which they drew much of the information preserved in their writings and teachings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their references to a dodecahedral Universe appear remarkably precise. Just as many of their geographical and astronomical observations have proved surprisingly accurate, so too, in my opinion, their references to Atlantis may eventually be confirmed. Why should they have been correct in so many other respects but mistaken only on this point? Perhaps humanity has simply not yet reached the level of knowledge possessed during the &#8220;Golden Age.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Greek Mythology as a Source of Knowledge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the myths of the religion of the Twelve Olympians lies an immense body of ancient information concerning the world, the Universe\u2014especially the stars nearest to Earth and our Solar System\u2014as well as the pre-cataclysmic Golden Age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today we admire great minds such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle for the totality of their achievements. These men laid the foundations upon which modern civilization was built. In many respects, they formulated nearly all the great philosophical and scientific questions that later generations continue to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We admire them for their philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, and the other sciences. We admire them because they first defined concepts such as reason, freedom, democracy, and human values. We also admire them because they taught, through both their lives and their deaths, how human beings ought to live and die, as exemplified by Leonidas and Socrates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet there remains one area in which many hesitate to follow them: their religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">irst to formulate the theory of a dodecahedral Universe.
