The Silent Decision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No savior will come.<br>No messiah with flags and drumbeats,<br>no grand words and empty promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exit begins quietly, within yourself.<br>Hold Kapodistrias in your heart as an ideal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It begins the moment the citizen decides:<br>not to shout,<br>not to hate,<br>not to applaud the lie,<br>not to accept blood as truth,<br>and never to hide the truth\u2014however bitter it may be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To judge calmly, with cold reason,<br>without dogma, without party, without reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. The Citizen versus the Mob<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The mob demands a camp; it breeds fear and suffering.<br>The citizen seeks truth and naked words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mob shouts, burns, and destroys.<br>The citizen thinks, examines, and acts\u2014on election day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pollster influences him little in his judgment.<br>From the parrots of the media<br>he learns half-truths<br>and often the whole lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding the truth is his own responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why they fear the citizen:<br>because he does not fit<br>into the sack like the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. Responsibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibility is not neutrality.<br>It is judgment\u2014without party identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To say \u201cno\u201d to your own side when it errs.<br>Not to baptize interest as patriotism.<br>Not to offer alibis to traitors with fine words.<br>Not to call patriotism \u201cfascism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IV. The Small Resistance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Resistance is not only rupture.<br>It is refusal, contempt\u2014and judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not share the lie.<br>Do not laugh at slander.<br>Do not applaud the submissive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small acts\u2014great breakwaters.<br>Even on the internet, make your marks:<br>silent exposure has weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V. The Homeland Again<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The homeland does not ask for cries.<br>It asks for shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not a slogan; it is a burden.<br>And it is borne only by free citizens,<br>not by followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It demands reasoned courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VI. Exit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The exit is not escape.<br>It is return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unity of Greeks wherever they are.<br><strong>In unity there is strength<\/strong>, as of old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Party, dogma, and faction truly behead you.<br>Bound like the Meander, Hellenism moves forward;<br>loosened, it is lost in Tartarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Return to reason.<br>To memory.<br>To judgment.<br>To shared responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With courage, prudence, and temperance.<br>The Greek does not compromise without magnanimity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let Greece shine like the Sun and give light.<br>Hellenism, hand in hand like the Meander, does not break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With mind\u2014and again with deeds\u2014<br>to trample kleptocracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Self-knowledge<\/strong>, said Socrates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This text<br>\u2022 does not preach,<br>\u2022 does not flatter,<br>\u2022 places the citizen face to face with himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus it closes rightly:<br>not with cheap hope,<br>but with&nbsp;<strong>heavy responsibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All children, in the circle-dance of Hellenism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9 February 2026<\/strong><br><strong>Amphiktyon \u2013 Lieutenant General (ret.)
