You give to your friends, you spend if you get sick, and you get treated. And as for everyday life, you go with little, because when you are full, whether you are rich or poor, it is the same. Euripides’ Fonissae (441) It is an old saying, but I will say it again: Money is most precious to man and has the greatest power in the world.

Euripides’ Criseyde. Everyone wants the rich man as a friend.

Menander “The Fisherman” Can wealth also make you a philanthropist? Socrates.

Socrates said that wealth would be a very valuable thing if it also had joy with it. But now both of these are separated because, if they want to use wealth, the rich are destroyed by debauchery. If they want to guard wealth, they are destroyed by care. And if they want to acquire more, they are corrupted by desire.

In our days, wealth has exceeded all limits, it does many evils to man and is faced with the people:

1. It is concentrated in a small oligarchy of wealth and power, it keeps man enslaved and does not let money circulate in the market for the balanced development of society.

2. It destroys the environment with foolish and unlimited development.

3. It destroys institutions and especially democracy. 4. It has bought everything: Politics, Spirit, Science, Religion, Justice, Media – Communication, Production, etc. to the extent that it keeps societies enslaved. And because a lot of money is produced from war, drugs and medicines, it tends to blow up the planet with weapons, to destroy societies with drugs and to harm man with many medicines, vaccines, etc. No one knows at the moment how this confrontation and conflict will end. Because the world war and the destruction of the environment will also harm wealth, logically wealth must retreat for the benefit of man.
